As a part of UK Water Week, we welcome Randy Kolka, Team Leader and Research Soil Scientist with the USDA Forest Service's Northern Research Station to our Campus! Dr. Kolka will talk about the Importance of Bogs in Carbon Storage in his work and research on Peatlands. This event will take place at The 90, Room 202 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. This is a free event for UK Students, Faculty, and Staff. The event is organized and co-sponsored by the Tracy Farmer Institute for Sustainability & the Environment,  Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering, Forestry, and the UK Appalachian Center.
