Join us for two SWAP (Sharing Work on Appalachia in Progress) presentations Tuesday, March 19, 2019 12PM-1:30PM. Eller & Billings Student Research Award recipient, Kahyah Pinkman (School Psychology) and James S. Brown Award Recipient, Mauri Systo (Anthropology) will present their work at the UK Appalachian Center. Pinkman's will give her presentation entitled "Appalachian African American Parents of a Child with Autism: Examining Service Provider Interactions and Parent Interpretation of Child Development." Systo will present her work entitled "Gig City: Tech Revitalization and Social Justice in Chattanooga, TN." This is a free event open to UK students, faculty and staff! Lunch will be provided.
