Join us on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. for a SWAP (Sharing Work on Appalachia in Progress) Talk event with Emily Preece!  Emily is a graduate student in the UK College of Design, Department of Interiors.  Her presentation is entitled "Revitalizing Eastern Kentucky: Transforming an Abandonded Coal Mine into a Communal Hub of Development."  She presents as one of the UK Appalachian Center 2017 James S. Brown Award recipients.  This is a free event for UK students, faculty, and staff!
