Join us for our first event of Water Week! We will be hosting a forum with speakers focusing on the theme of ecology, considering questions such as "Where does our water come from?" The speaker forum will start at 4:30 pm in the UKAA Auditorium of the William T. Young Library. Steven Evans (Associate Director of the Kentucky Water Resources Research Institute at UK) will be presenting "Watershed Planning: A Case Study from Letcher County, Kentucky." Erika Hernandez (Doctoral Student specializing in Water Distribution Modeling) will be presenting "At the tap: an overview of drinking water infrastructure." Amanda Gumbert (Extension Water Quality Specialist with UK's College of Agriculture, Food and Environment) will be presenting "A Glimpse Into Lexington Watersheds."
