The Post Office Project is a public project, open to all, to document the current and historical contributions of post offices and postal workers to Appalachian Kentucky communities. This is not a contest – all appropriate submissions will be posted on the project site as it grows, for everyone to learn from and use. Submissions will be displayed on this site in rotating albums, always with identifying information for those who submitted the material. There are many ways to participate in this project. Possible submissions include poems, essays, photos, stories, artwork, recorded memories, and more – everyone has something to share.
